Open Campus

With signed parental consent, our Junior High students have the privilege to leave school grounds during the lunch break.  Parents who wish to allow their children off campus will be given the opportunity to fill in a request form for this purpose.  When off campus, students continue to be held to our school’s high standard and must follow the school's rules of Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.  Please note, that students’ conduct is monitored within the community and this privilege will be removed by school administration at any time in response to concerns.

Student Leadership

At Father Leduc, a vital aspect of the school experience is the opportunity for students to learn about leadership firsthand. From grades 5 to 8, every student can engage in meaningful service and development. The Students’ Leadership Team plays a key role in enriching student life by organizing special events, theme days, and clubs. What sets this program apart is that students are encouraged to generate ideas, plan the events, and run them, allowing students to take ownership of their leadership journey. Additionally, they engage in initiatives that promote social justice and participate in community service projects, fostering a strong sense of responsibility and connection to their community. Through these experiences, students are not only learning to become effective leaders but also gaining valuable skills that will serve them for years to come.
