FLCS participates in the Leduc and District Athletic Association (LDAA) for Junior High Sports and a variety of elementary leagues for our grade 5-6 teams.
Junior high varsity sports offer a multitude of benefits. They foster a sense of belonging, promoting teamwork and collaboration. Students learn essential values like discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. Physically, sports improve fitness levels, coordination, and overall health. They also contribute to mental well-being by boosting self-esteem and reducing stress.
Father Leduc Catholic School has developed a strong foundation with interscholastic competition. Since 2016, we have won more than 14 team banners and a multitude of individual medals. Father Leduc Lightning competes in the Leduc and District Athletic Association in the following sports: Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Cross Country Running, Soccer, and Track and Field.
